Cialis (tadalafil) is a male impotence drug that comes in tablets containing 5, 10 and 20 mg. of the active ingredient. Each tablet of Cialis is yellow, almond-shaped and film coated to prevent it from melting in your esophagus. This medicine can be taken as needed or on the daily basis, in case you are taking Cialis for daily use. Before taking this drug you need to go through a complete health checkup for the right dosage to be determined by the doctor. You must not combine this medicine with any drugs that contain nitrates, for example isosorbide pills, nitroglycerine patches, nitroglycerin ointments, nitroglycerine pills or recreational drugs, also known as poppers. Taking the drugs mentioned above simultaneously with Cialis may cause a sudden drop in blood pressure and, in some cases, lead to death.

Do not take Cialis more often than once a day (at least 24 hours should pass between the two doses). If you missed a dose and it’s almost time to take another one do not take two tablets to make up for the one you missed. Instead, skip the dose and carry on with your regular dosing schedule.
